Tooth Colored Fillings
Composite, bonded, tooth colored fillings are now the state of the art in dentistry. They are strong, wear resistant and because they are bonded they actually reinforce the tooth. Metal fillings actually warp over time and create a wedging force that sometimes increases the chance of tooth fractures. We use the Apollo Plasma Curing Light which cures the fillings in one third of the normal curing light time. Even if the composite filling material was purple or green it would still be a better filling material than metal fillings. Better appearance is a bonus.
