The first time was in 1981 with a certificate in Dental Assisting. The second time was in 1986 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science-Dental Hygiene. I have been with Dr. Z as a hygienist since May 1998. My husband and I have been married since 1986 and we have three great kids! Dr. James Zarafonetis graduated in 1976 from the University of Detroit Dental School. He returned to Grand Rapids and has practiced at the same Michigan Street location ever since. He is a general and cosmetic dentist and has been an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 1992. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Michigan Dental Association. Providing the best possible treatment and latest techniques for his patients is in his best interests.
